These #10 envelopes are perfect for business correspondence and marketing needs with an imprinted logo and address to reduce the time consuming task of hand writing on envelopes or eliminating those messy rubber stamps. You can also use the #10 window envelopes by allowing the receipent address to display through the clear window eliminating the need to hand write addresses directly on the envelope. And if you are using the envelopes to send checks we recommend the custom printed #10 window with optional safety tint to protect your check form showing through the envelope.
How #10 Envelopes Are Made
Envelopes are made by die cutting paper into the shape of an envelope before it is folded and glued. The size of the die cut is determined by the finished size of the envelope. Next glue is applied along the seams of the envelope while the seams are folded. Diagonal seam envelopes are the envelopes of choice for most commecial printers because these envelopes tend to feed better during the printing process as compared to side seam envelopes.
How #10 Envelopes are Printed
Our #10 regular envelopes and #10 window envelops are printed by digital or offset printing equipment. Smaller quantities up to about 2500 are printed digitally with larger quantities printed by offset press. Both methods are capable of black or color printing (CMYK)
How #10 envelopes are made
#10 envelopes are made into envelopes from raw paper by paper converters. They diecut the shape, apply the optional clear window, apply glue and then fold it. We buy these pre-made envelopes and print directly on them for most orders as it is the most economical way to print #10 regular envelopes and #10 window envelopes. In certain circumstances, we will print on the paper first and then the paper is converted into an envelope, usually this is done for larger volume orders or those requiring bleeds or other special envelope features.
