How 6x9 Booklet Envelopes Envelopes Are Made - the Manufacturing Process

Envelopes are made by die cutting paper into the shape of an envelope before it is folded and glued.  The size of the die cut is determined by the finished size of the envelope.  Next glue is applied along the seams of the envelope while the seams are folded.  Diagonal seam envelopes are the envelopes of choice for most commercial printers because these envelopes tend to feed better during the printing process as compared to side seam envelopes.

How 6x9 Booklet Envelopes are Printed

Our 6x9 Booklet Envelopes come pre-die cut and glued and are printed on high speed digital printing press equipment in either black or color printing (CMYK) at a minimum resolution of 1200 dpi at speeds up to 7500 envelopes per hour.  They are packaged in boxes of 500.
