The 11" × 17" tabloid-size sheets are printed, folded and collated to create an 8-page finished newsletter. We provide a FREE PDF proof by email and pre-flight customer-supplied artwork to identify common technical problems before printing. Whether you need 525, 756, or another quantity, you can request the amount you need instead of ordering more than necessary. Our minimum order is 100 newsletters. We can also handle your bulk direct mailing, helping you get your newsletters printed and delivered to your intended audience.

Specifications & File Requirements

• File Type: PDF preferred. Contact us if you need to submit another file type.
• Design File Page Size: Prepare your artwork as individual 8.5" × 11" pages for an 8-page newsletter, or as 11" × 17" pages for a 4-page layout file. Submit a single PDF in normal reading order.
• Orientation: Landscape orientation for 11" × 17" sheets opened flat.
• Margin: 1/2" recommended; 1/4" minimum.
• Bleed: A minimum of 1/8" bleed is recommended for artwork extending to the edge of the finished page.
• Crop Marks: Recommended and required when your artwork includes bleed.
• Color Space: Grayscale, RGB or CMYK. CMYK is recommended for full-color printing.
• File Resolution: 300 dpi recommended for raster images; vector artwork is preferred for logos and other scalable graphics.
• Paper Options: #60 white uncoated or #100 gloss text paper.
• Ink(s) & Printing Options: Black or full-color CMYK printing.
• Finishing Options: Saddle stapled in the fold (standard for half folding, included in half fold price).
• Folding Options: Half fold to create an 8-page newsletter.
• Finished Size (Flat or Folded): 17" × 11" flat; 8.5" × 11" folded.
• Minimum Quantity: 100 newsletters.
• Free File Check: Free Pre-flight file check of your uploaded artwork files for any technical issues.
• Free PDF Proofs: Free PDF proofs after pre-flight check by email for approval before printing.
• Graphic Design Services: Available for an additional fee, separate from printing costs.
• Production Time: Typically 48–72 business hours from proof approval. Weekends and holidays are excluded. Orders requiring additional services (i.e. graphic design, file corrections, folding, mailing, etc.) may require additional time.
• Shipping: UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air Saver options are available.

Production times are estimates, not guarantees. The production clock begins after you approve your PDF proof for printing. Placing an order, checking files or preparing and sending a proof does not start the production clock.
